Major Differences Between Hackers and Crackers .

Well, some people might say, "Hackers" are dangerous and they cause a lot of harm to computer systems or technologically advanced systems. But you are getting it all wrong. There is a big difference between Hackers and Crackers and I'm going to break it down for you to understand. Both Hackers and Crackers go by a General name with a wrong meaning and that name is "hacker".

Well, basically there are two kinds of hackers:

•White-Hat
•Black-Hat.
           The Black-Hat hackers can also be referred to as crackers because of their malicious reasons for hacking. These days, hacking is being dreaded, but it's not supposed to be as it creates a medium of communication between Man and Computer.

Nowadays anyone who claims to be an hacker is feared and his freedom is at stake. But, we shouldn't mix the difference between a Hackers and a Crackers. Some people might be saying to themselves, "What then is the difference between an Hacker and a cracker?".
Well, this is where it gets interesting. Hackers also break into websites or secured security systems just like Crackers but for a completely different reason. As a matter of fact, we can say that they both force their way(break into) secured sites and systems, but unlike the cracker, the hacker breaks into secured sites to find holes in which crackers pass through into that network. They break into websites to look out for vulnerabilities that crackers use to get in and cause a lot of damage.
Crackers are also referred to as "Malicious Users" or "Criminal Hackers". They sometimes break into people's personal files and highly secured sites that has a well-established firewall security for fun. But most times, they do it for criminal and malicious purposes. Crackers sometimes do this either to tarnish a person's image and destroy their reputation or to get revenge on a particular company, individual or organization.

2) Hackers know how to interact with the computers they use by way of learning programming languages. But it's a different case when it gets to that of a Cracker. Crackers just learn the basics of breaking and entry of secured systems. They use softwares like UBUNTU, KALI LINUX, TERMUX, etc to do their evil and dirty deeds. But hackers create these softwares by way of coding. Well, it gets better.
Hackers also create viruses but for a good reason unlike the crackers who use to to destroy innocent people's files and documents. Hackers create and develop different kind of virus that keeps the crackers away. They attach it to the loop holes in security systems and vulnerable websites so that when the cracker breaks in and passes through the loop, the virus attaches itself to the computer system of the cracker which can also be called a cracker.

3) A hacker is just like George Mallory who climbed Mt. Everest and when he was asked why he climbed it, he said "because it's there!". Hackers break through internet securities to test their vulnerabilities and write notes on how to improve them. Crackers use these vulnerabilities to steal data from website and secured systems and sometimes corrupt the data and files there. You might be wondering, "But I see people who are called hackers getting arrested and prosecuted by the law. You've got the wrong idea of things. Hacking is the art of learning how the computer is being built internally, how it works, how to communicate with it and actually communicating with it by using different programming languages like Java, HTML, Python, etc.

Everything used by a cracker, ie , the software, commands and others are developed and created by an hacker. So try and differentiate between Hackers and Crackers because an hacker is not so different from a programmer.

In conclusion, I will say that a skillful programmer can also be referred to as an hacker.

He/she possesses the art to break into Amy secured system. Crackers on the other hand, have little or zero knowledge on programming and it's languages. Crackers are of different types such as the wannabees, lamers, etc.
